Society Reserve: Eight Strains. One Standard.

With the release of Society Reserve No. 02, the Society Reserve Collection enters its next chapter.

But Society Reserve was never created simply to introduce another strain.

It was created to recognize the exceptional.

There will be flower we love. Flower we are proud to put the Sagaponack Society name on. Flower that becomes a customer favorite and returns again and again.

And then there is Society Reserve.

What Makes a Society Reserve?

A strain does not become part of Society Reserve because of its name, its reputation, or its genetics alone.

It has to distinguish itself.

We look at the complete expression of the flower: structure, resin production, aroma, terpene profile, flavor, cure, appearance, and ultimately the experience from beginning to end.

Some strains are impressive when the jar opens.

Others become memorable after you smoke them.

A Society Reserve has to do both.

It should have an unmistakable presence before it is ever broken apart and enough character afterward that you remember exactly what you just had.

Most importantly, it has to make us stop.

That moment matters.

When we come across a particular cultivar, phenotype, or harvest that makes everyone in the room look at one another and immediately understand that it is different, we begin considering it for the Reserve.

Good is not enough.

Neither is rare.

Society Reserve exists at the intersection of quality, character, scarcity, and expression.

The Eight

We have chosen eight strains for the Society Reserve Collection.

Only eight.

Each will receive its own number and its own place within the history of Sagaponack Society.

Society Reserve No. 01 began the collection.

Now, Society Reserve No. 02 continues it.

The remaining six will be introduced individually, when the time is right.

We deliberately chose not to release them all at once. Society Reserve is meant to be experienced as a collection—one release, one chapter, one moment at a time.

There is no need to rush something designed to be remembered.

Society Reserve No. 02 represents exactly why this collection exists.

It was not selected because we needed a second release.

It was selected because, after experiencing it, we believed it deserved the number.

That distinction is important.

The Reserve Collection will never be dictated by a calendar. We would rather wait than place the Society Reserve designation on something that does not meet the standard.

Every number has to earn its place.

An Ongoing Collection

Over time, the eight numbered Society Reserve releases will tell a larger story about our taste, our standards, and what we believe exceptional flower can be.

Some may be celebrated genetics.

Others may be expressions very few people have encountered.

Some may never appear exactly the same way again.

That is part of the point.

Society Reserve is not meant to represent everything we offer.

It represents the flower we believe deserves to be remembered.
